Excellent news. So there's some justice in the world after all!

Nice to see two other BB-related songs ("Okie From Muskogee" and Dion's magnificent "The Wanderer") getting their dues as well...

Thanks for the heads up, PF. :=)

The single "I get around" b/w "Don't worry baby" has got to be one of the most exciting singles released in rock music.

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

Was just thinking the same thing. Gotta rank up there with Strawberry Fields/Penny Lane.

But why do they call them "singles" anyway? Since they've got two songs they should be called "doubles!"

I like the uptempo A-side better. 3D

I'd say "IGA/DWB" is a contender for best double-sider ever, Beatles or no Beatles...

Two other singles that come to my mind right now and have such a coupling of two legendary songs that stand eye-t-eye are Don't be cruel/Hound dog and Blue suede shoes/Honey don't. You could also add Johnny B. Goode/Around & around, Rip it up/Ready Teddy and again the Beach Boys: Wouldn't it be nice/God only knows. What quality on one single! What value you got for your money

Oh yes, agreed! There have been some fabulous double-siders over the years. You might add "GV/LGAFAW", another mind-boggling combination...

You joke but they say "single" because it's single disc/45 with 2 sides. Like, anything has 2 sides - book page, plate, chopping board where you cut food any side you flip etc. By definition single has 2 songs in it. To call it "double", "double-sider" is beside the point. Let's not change the term. It's single.

GV/LGAFA - imo bad idea for B-side, it's boring. It should be "Pet Sounds".
