This is my review of the Valencia concert and setlist:

The venue was a small club in Valencia called 16 Toneladas (16 Tons). I was out on the street with a few people waiting for the doors to open, and suddenly David appeared with the rest of band approaching us sayin' "Hola!" and shaking hands with everybody. He was very animated and that's when I took the opportunity to get my CDs signed and a picture with him.

The show started late at 1:15 a.m. and sounded great instrumentally but not vocally, given that the backing band members are not professional singers. Anyway, it was cool to see David as the leader of a band, very different than when he performs with Brian or The Beach Boys.

They played the new album in its entirety and it is interesting to note that all the songs not on the album appeared on Beach Boys albums.

Here is the setlist:

Surfin' Safari
Hawaii
Kustom Kar Show
Louie Louie
Let's Go Trippin'
Food Fair
Stoked
409
Little Deuce Coupe
Cruisin'
Shut Down
Honky Tonk
I Could Make You Mine
Travelin'
Surf Jam
Summertime Blues
Let's Dance
Do You Wanna Dance
Barbara Ann
Surfin' USA

Sheriff Of Noddingham

After the show, I bought the Back In The Garage CD and got it signed by David!

PD: Sadly, the concert scheduled for the followin day in Platja d'Aro was cancelled due to heavy rain.
