OK, so we're still sober, but that will change soon.

I have a question. But haileblaineisgood and Labe, Son of Nat were first so I'll ask mine when you've answered theirs.

Things are better now. We went for a walk and came back to watch Bob's Burgers.
What's your question, John?

I was (professionally) interested to know yours and Bubs's beverage of choice at the time but it's not really relevant now. Anyway----it's great to see young folks getting together. Give Bubs my regards. :=)

You're speaking to him. Hope you've been well, John. P.S. Red wine merlot

I have a little advice to give to you all:
Don't drink half a bottle within two episodes of Tiny House Hunters.

I assume this is u-m speaking this time, lol. I get the impression Bubs wouldn't be fazed by half a bottle of anything, and certainly not while watching tiny people hunting for houses. And I've just discovered where your (current) signature is from: "Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa", a short story by Ezra Koenig of Vampire Weekend.

I watched Bob's Burgers a couple times. Won't make that mistake again. I really think most modern / hip comedy has passed me by. I kinda feel that way my father did when I really got into The Simpsons, and he didn't get it.

Unfortunately, there's only a few copies of that book in existence. siiiggggghhhh. We both got a little messed up, but I was a lot worse. I ended up laughing on the floor a lot.

I ended up laughing on the floor a lot. I've seen chunks of the text online but do you know if the whole story is online anywhere? I recall seeing Peter Gabriel guesting with Vampire Weekend on the song "CCKK" and getting a bit embarrassed about singing his own name! And if you can't get messed up on your own floor, where can you get messed up?! Great to exchange a few words with the man himself yesterday.

Hi Bubs. What have I been up to? When I'm not working, I post here and at "my" other MB (where Cool Cool Water also posts). I read stuff at the PSF----lots of tips for new music over there, for which grateful thanks to all concerned. I trot out the occasional palindrome. All exciting stuff. Oh, and recently I spent 12 days in Scotland, including the Outer Hebrides. Amazing. All the best. :=)
