David Bowie's Low has songs on side one and instrumentals (occasionally laced with "vocals") on side two.

Well, there's Love's second album Da Capo. Five fantastic songs on side one (their finest hour in my opinion, despite Forever Changes) and an interminable jam on side two!

As good as Da Capo is, Forever Changes is just perfect to me.

I've heard this said before, on several occasions!
