Lovely stuff! Would love to see the whole performance one day. Look at Dennis with the super short hair - a rare sight. Great to see Brian with them here. This reminds me again how much I love the Wild Honey era.

I love that channel and the clips they post. It's a virtual time machine, and in this case people get to hear how a record like "Darlin" sounded when it was new in 1967, versus how we know it today, and if you listen to it there are differences in how certain elements of the mix jump out over others. Nothing to do with different mixes, but rather how those mixes were delivered through the various sound systems and broadcasts at that time. Pretty cool.

And again, perhaps more evidence in Dick Clark spinning the record for the dance contest that the BB's R&B singles in '67 like Wild Honey and Darlin were not a big of a flop as some histories may have suggested.

It was part of the super sketchy copyright extension release on bandcamp that has since been deleted. And it wasn't the full track (again, super sketchy).
