It seems like the coda to Surf's Up is about a minute long.  I was wondering if anyone has come across any (live) versions where they carried it out longer?  It always ends too soon for me.

You remember the part in "Brian Wilson On Tour" where Ronnie Spector sings "Don't worry baby" to him? Here is Brian hearing her recording of it for the first time. Priceless:

Amazing to hear them play that song during the Holland/In Concert era! They were kind of on their way to rediscovering their early material at that time it seems. Lovely recording!

That is a nice find!
I haven't heard a lot of interviews from the whole "Pet Sounds" era. I always like to read the newspaper snippets in the boxset as they give a interesting view into how the Boys and the album were received at that time.

This footage covers quite a few years. Later you can see Brian and Andy Paley at a birthday party for Rodney Bingenheimer and Brian plays "How could we still be dancin'" and "Desert Drive" at the piano

This is an interview Mike Love and Dennis Wilson with Elliot Mintz. I don't know the year this was recorded but it sounds like 1971. They talk about Transcendental Meditation and the effects of it. Sourced from Elliot Mintz's website.

Here's audio of Brian performing "Melt Away" in the late '80s. It's a strange performance. The lead vocal and the band are performed live but the harmonies are sampled from the record.
