Check this out! A nice TV-performance of "Love & Mercy" from 1989 (Thanks to DancinDrAlucard, whoever you are)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i93mffw_UzE

and here's a TV-report about SMILE from September 2004. Look at Brian's proud face while he's talking about his grand-kids at the end of the clip!

If you ever wondered if Mike Live promoted his Jingle Bell Rock-single......

...he did...

Just found this on one of my old VHS-video's.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kBpdaG_Sgkg

By the way: the talkhost you see at the end of this clip is the same guy that did the infamous Brian Wilson interview some 10 years later. I know I have that recording somewhere as well, but have to look that one up.

I'm really starting to like that YouTube-site...

Here's a new addition:

Don't Worry Baby featuring Brian Wilson in the videoclip as broadcasted by Deja View. Year is probably 1987 or 88.

Actually it´s from 1986, released on a Wienerworld video collection (VC 4017).

I can't seem to find the words to describe the oddity of this clip...

This is from the excellent DVD-compilation "Video-archives Vol.2 - The BB 1968-1969".

The Beach Boys on the Mike Douglas show, July 8th 1969

Part 1: Break Away + talking on their visit to Czechoslovakia
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mIHBlUDWNqU

Part 2: Celebrate The News
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UkMlsGDq4sA

Part 3: 2 more songs, performed by Mike Douglas himself and Jay Stevens (not sure about her name, correct me if I’m wrong). The Beach Boys are watching, and apparently Dennis is in the mood for dancing…

Question is: who's the worst playbacker...

Edit: unfortunately this clip was blocked by YouTube cause of copyright infringement....sorry....

I have the whole special on video. At the end Al Jardine joins the all star band and delivers a very poor guitar solo. Quite embarrassing.  Embarrassed

Love the Celebrate the News clip and have it for a few years. Mike and Dennis really get into a very cool vocal groove at the end, but too bad how poorly it's filmed with no close ups.

Sounds like some of it was pre-recorded. The "intro" for example, which was sung by Brian, has none member moving his lips....
It's cool to see Brian with his arms around Carl and Al. Love it. Thanks !
