He loved his dad, even if his dad was a tyrant.

That's our Denny--tough on the outside with a sensitive soul on the inside

With sound! That's great. Probably just mics on the camera but maybe the live footage also has some sound.

I hope so, plus it would be really cool to hear the conversation Dennis and Al had at that costume shop!  I remember when the whole documentary was on youtube and of course they snatched it  Sad

At first I thought it was one of those "shred"-Videos when Al started to strum on his guitar...  Tip Toe

Great find otherwise!

Not any great discovery; it's actually very current.

But John Cowsill's having such a great time here. Yeah, not the originals, but this is the spirit of a BB concert... and the music in general.

I don't think Brian enjoyed that interview at all. Lousy questions. No wonder Brian cut it off towards the end.

I, I love the colorful clothes she wears, and she's already working on my brain. I only looked in her eyes, but I picked up something I just can't explain. I, I bet I know what she’s like, and I can feel how right she’d be for me. It’s weird how she comes in so strong, and I wonder what she’s picking up from me. I hope it’s good, good, good, good vibrations, yeah!!

and it turns out even The Wombles loved The Beach Boys.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1dSyIDtDesYm  Grin
eta: can somebody please overdub this on the clip from Knebworth,
where the boys start doing a giant furry suit wombles chorus line style leg kick dance.

So basically you're asking people to make good use of the thing that you've found?  Wink

Come to think of it, the Wombles are what would have become of the Beach Boys if Brian had never f***ed with the formula. Just substitute surfing for wombling - their one dimensional lyrical subject matter speaks for itself I think.
