Is it in one of this guy's 75 videos?    https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCyHCcnXbcuPgBvMQiQz1eqA/videos

Nope. I might just be insane.

If you watched all 75 start to stop, you probably are now
Yeah, no kidding! After all that electronic junk sounds! What's up with ALL those videos? I've tried talking to him on YT but no reply. The image always freezes up too. Am I the only one who can't see a lot or hear much clear?

You're not alone. Might be a case of bad DVD rips.

It's a pity that Mike and Al's version of the TM Song from The Mike Douglas Show from 1976 isn't included Sad

Haha fortunately you can just open up the videos and scroll through the picture with your cursor. So I was able to just look for striped shirts.

Did they do the argument, just the two of them, at the beginning?
It wasn't included on the recording/film or not recorded at all?
I wonder what instruments were played, just Al on acoustic guitar and Mike on tambourine?   Wink

No argument between the TMers, and the performance was recorded.

Yeah, I also heard quite some bad notes.

I thought it was great! I got a sentimental feeling. Mike sounded just like he did on the record, which isn't always the case with some Beach Boys. And, kudos to John Cowsill for playing drums with one hand, while handling the sleigh bells with the other. They could maybe improve their stage presence or body language a little... Shocked

Merry Christmas. I uploaded a video of B.W. (accompanied by Landy) at Tower Records in 1988.

This is pretty incredible footage. A good deal of it is hard to hear due to Tower Records playing BW88 over the loudspeakers in the store, but you can (barely) still make out a conversation, where I think a reporter asks Brian about SMiLE, and he says something about it being in the vault for 21 years, and that it might come out "...in October", or something to that effect.

I'd heard vaguely about the ill-fated attempt to release SMiLE in the Landy era, and I'm guessing this is some evidence of it, at least being talked about in the hypothetical by Brian at the time. Fascinating.

"Do You Hear What I Hear" - Mike Love & Mary MacGregor 1983
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eueN_-R5DBg

I enjoyed that very much. Thank you for posting it. Mike's gentle, non-nasal vocal is very good. I always wished the Beach Boys (and Brian) would've taken a shot at "Do You Hear What I Hear". It seems like the kind of song that suits all of their voices, even today.

I'm sure this video from Wembley last year has been posted before, but Brian's so animated and happy looking that it's an absolute shame they couldn't keep the reunion going:
