Mike lip-syncing Lookin' Back With Love.  Anybody know what show this is from?

Was it from the 'Mike Love Pisses All Over Our Memories' TV special....?

I watched it on my iPad and had the sound low and also somehow missed the poster's comment. But dang, at first watch he had me fooled. Thanks for the heads up to watch again. Smiley

They are rough shows, but Brian added a whole lot live.

He does, but his "falsetto" on Hawaii is just painful.

The second show was ok but the sounds is just bad.
Considering that they did very good versions of H&V at both shows I wonder why they didn't keep it in the set after these concerts. It was a hit after all...

Gettin' Hungry is much better on the 2nd show. Wouldn't mind hearing that on the MIC box!

This is based on the "tune x" recordings (or "tones" in some of my files). Unlike the "Holidays" tracks that
are referred to as "tune x" this string section with guitar, bass, banjo and percussion in the bridge sounds
almost like it could be an alternate ending to H&V -- or who knows what Brian had in mind. Lots of stuff
ends up on the "cutting room floor" you know.

Visuals are a quasi-religious theme with just whatever else I felt like doing because when
I started editing I didn't have any idea what the final result would be.  Wink

I heard this for the first time. BB in Detroit, Nov 67

http://youtu.be/eMbI-SVtM3I

The crowd gives great response to Wild Honey at 27:10. Makes sense cuz it had just been released as a single. Darlin hadn't been released and received mild applause. IMO Wild Honey is a much better song, and I don't understand why Darlin was the bigger hit. Of course Babarann was a much bigger hit than God Only Knows so...
