That guy is amazing.  Grin I discovered him a few months ago. Check out his cover of Funky Pretty. It's almost as good as the original version!  Cool

Was watching BW Songwriter last night and noticed Dennis in the background of this scene, at approx. 4:53 smoking a pipe (don't know what's in there!). Never noticed it before. Love finding new things like that.

Video of a Rhonda Session including Murray. Towards the end there's a little melodrama done by Murray.

Another new one , Farm Aid 1996 (with Tim and Chris in the band) , Carl seems to be performing some 500 yards away from the rest of the guys

Shame about the sound quality

Thank you so much! It's been added to the list now. Can't get enough of seeing Willie Nelson with the Beach Boys. That is someone who plays in their league unlike Collin Raye, etc.
I wonder if he ever asked Mike if they'd smoke one together...  Grin

I've said that before but isn't it a miracle to see how tired, lame and old they sounded in '96 on "Fun, fun, fun" and then compare it with that youthful spirit and sound that came across on the Beach Boys tour this year? 16 years later!

Didn't they play FFF slower at that time? I remember Carl's intro being slow compared to like he played it for example at Knebworth 1980.

They did indeed and that didn't do any good to the effect. But listening to other shows from that time they sound lame on other songs as well. The harmonies on the ballads are great though

Here's an in progress snapshot of a "Surf's Up" music video I'm working on. There are still a lot of sloppy edits to iron out and I need to better sync Brian's "Inside Pop" performance with the studio backing track yet, but it's still a pretty accurate approximation of what the finished product may look like.

Any suggestions? I'm open to ideas  Cool Guy
