Why do those MIU clips remind me of that "Wonderland Murders" crime scene video?

Are there any videos of an older Brian playing bass live?

You mean 90s/00s Brian? Look for videos of Brian & Band doing their encores (Fun, Fun, Fun etc.) - usually Brian leaves his chair, gets a bass strapped on and "plays along". Actual bass work... nah..

And production aside, I’d so much rather hear a 14 year old David Marks shred some guitar on Chug-a-lug than hear a 51 year old Mike Love sing about bangin some chick in a swimming pool.-rab2591

Neat interview. It's also on the TLOS DVD as a bonus.

That version of Big Sur is one of my favorite Beach Boys songs. Hope it's on the box set.

I agree, Big Sur is stunningly beautiful, Carry Me Home, California Slide and many others need to be officially released!

My Solution http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zJfvRpyLhHwHappy Days Surfin' Safari http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iznAbk5vkGEI notice in more than a few Happy Days episodes references to The Beach Boys was used (Chachi touring with them, Joanie and Chachi going to their concert) and a bad version of I Get Around was used in a dance sequence as well.

Love the 1st movement of Surf's Up. Beginning of Let Her Run Wild sounds awesome too. Listened to the whole 20-tracks compilation earlier today - it's really worth a listen, and you can tell that there was a fan at work there.

Link to a website with several parts of said interview was posted a few months ago. Cool it's coming to YT, though.

Cool Al interview, including some (frustratingly brief) clips of him playing banjo and various guitars. We need to see/hear more of his musicianship! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_3Df_SNUlXE&feature=related
