Why on earth(and every other planet in the solar system!) are they still humoring this "singer"? Didn't they learn their lesson when Jeff Foskett joined them in December(ish) of 1981? I could plug my cats nose and she would probably make a more tuneful squeak.

And production aside, I’d so much rather hear a 14 year old David Marks shred some guitar on Chug-a-lug than hear a 51 year old Mike Love sing about bangin some chick in a swimming pool.-rab2591

Mike's current voice does this song really well.

One of my favourite outtakes, always reminds me of "Sloop John B".

Yes, should have been part of 15 Big Ones I think. I really like that album but the song selection sure has its flaws. Sea Cruise is another one that I think is much better than some of the stuff that was ultimately released in 1976.

Totally agree, take some of those terrible 50s covers off that album and remix the originals to get one heck of an album.

Brian looks scared of Landy at the end of part 1.

He was kind of starting to resemble Landy. Good thing he got away when he did or his nose would have grown an enormous bulb on the end.

I have never seen Brian with the Pet Sounds era hair in the 80's. Also, I think Brian may be the worst lip syncher of all time. Anyone else notice Brian punching the keyboard as opposed to playing it at 1:11?

Anyone else notice Brian punching the keyboard as opposed to playing it at 1:11? I didn't notice the first time I saw this. BW obviously had a bit of a habit of punching technical gear on stage I think. (1977 Largo concert footage comes to mind...)
