can be found on Get The Boot, which has been circulating quite a few years. But I agree, that this is a great outtake of Til I Die.

This is a documentary from 1996 about Rock'n'Roll, but not about the singers but about the songwriters, producers and the different sounds that were created. Here's the part, where the Beach Boys come in and you can see an interview with Brian (playing Sweet little sixteen and Surfin USA on a tack piano it seems) and be sure to catch his story of hearing "Be my baby" the first time. But check out the other parts too:

I swear I am not saying this to seem contrarian, but I don't agree that he sounds all that good there. Sure, he has sounded worse, but to be better than your worst isn't a reason for too excessive praise. I doubt a vocal coach would be too fond of his "whisper-singing" thing, and he is not hitting the notes in plenty of spots--he's flat early on in quite a few places. That he seems involved is great, and there are other parts that are really nice: when he powers up on "what good would LIVIN' DO ME," that's good singing to me. I don't mean the guy disrespect: we all know his age, his history, and his lesser moments. But I don't think this is all that different than plenty of his other hit and miss moments over the past decade or so. Anyway, it's just great that he can be out there, performing, getting paid, and giving us more chances to catch more shows while he's still around and capable.

I just made a mashup of 'Don't Worry Baby', 'Hushabye', and 'Don't Talk (put your head on my shoulder)'. I used the 'Don't Talk' vocal snippet and string section from the Pet Sounds Sessions, the 2009 stereo version of 'Don't Worry Baby', the 2009 stereo version of 'Hushabye', and the 'Don't Worry Baby' a cappella snippet from Summer Love Songs. I overdubbed the 'Don't Talk' string section over the final chorus, and it doesn't fit well, but parts of it sound like good together.

It is fairly rudimentary but I think the bridge came out rather well. It also shows how consistent Brian's falsetto was in his early years. Enjoy!

I also really wanted to use the song 'Vegatables' - the harmonies fit perfectly but the tempo didn't match at all - so I never put it in.

He's got the wrong side of the face though. It'll be interesting to see how long he can get away with this before the wifeandmanagers find out about it.  Wink

He's been pretty much makiing a career in the last few years doing impressions of just about anyone.  He has received positive remarks from several of the people he has impersonated, including Ringo Starr, Jeff Lynne and the Bee Gees.
