Hell, it might be one of my three wishes if I ever meet the genie.
Don't wish for something that specific. Say "I wish every unreleased Beach Boys tape gets made public." Don't you want to hear Wouldn't It Be Nice to Live Again, too?
Yeah, you have a point and I do want to hear "WIBNTLA" badly too.

People, wish #1 is "I wish for unlimited wishes." Then the rest is irrelevant because you never run out. C'mon, folks, this is Genie Wishing 101.
No, genies don't let you wish for unlimited wishes. That's one of the rules.

Hello fellow SmileySmileboard-members:

A merry Christmas to you all!

Here's a video I recently found on one of my tapes: I think from at around 1984 (correct me if I'm wrong). Obviously a Christmas show, seeing (and hearing) the entourage. Carl sings God Only Knows as a duet with... well.... help me out on this one folks!! Who's the lady singing with Carl (I recognise her, but can't remember her name right now)?

Hey Hey Santa, Merry Christmas to you too... thanks for all the presents!! Cheesy

I believe it's Marilyn McCoo singing with Carl and I think the show is called Solid Gold... hope that helps... not sure if I'm 100% right in my info though

Never saw this "performance" of GOK from '69:

That GOK "performance" is actually from 1968-Dec 14 to be exact- Twien filmed in Amsterdam-they did all most a whole mimed show for Dutch TV-a bit of some other songs is in American Band.

It was cool to see the Tween thing because my copy has Not For Broadcast covering part of the picture.

The Twien performance was also added to the Not For Broadcast - The Beach Boys Video Archives dvd (essentila for anyone's BB-collection btw - if you see it, buy it immediately!!). It does have a counter on the screen below though. I have a recording somewhere on VHS without that fortunately.
I'm still wondering if it was a life-performance which had the studio-recordings added later on or if it was a complete playback-show. Does anyone know?

That dvd is good I just wish they hadn't added the words in the middle of the picture. A few of the items I have seen better in other places but overall it is a solid item.

Wanted to see that docu, Jon Stebbins' docu right?, for a long time. Very revealing and has some great stuff in it. Sad ending is right...

Ok, I know everyone's heard this tune (Someone to Love from Sweet Insanity)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yRyPW8EmThw

I just wanted to point out the conversation that someone's actually convinced Brian will revisit more Sweet Insanity tunes, which I highly doubt will ever happen.

Brian always reuses songs. He'll be dipping into his back-catalog 'til the day he dies.

Not included on any original vinyl album, a single only release in 1960: Dore 576 (produced by Herb Alpert & Lou Adler)

You can find it on the Jan & Dean CD "Teen Suite 1958-1962" (Varese Sarabande VSD-5590) and as a bonus track on the 1996 reissue of the original Dore album (Sundazed LP 5040).
