Beach Boys "In My Room" Live 1964 (Reelin' In The Years Archives)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bV-dWhYklqE

I love this version!  great seeing the whole clip too....great quality footage...

anybody know the origin of how this audio was recorded?...... the vocals are so 'clean', and Denny is very audible here...

did they prerecord or are the vocals recorded live here?..... I can't pick it.

He's really saying "and be happy," right? That's what I thought I heard.

Yeah, the started in December with the Mike and Dean Christmas clips and has added a bit of items from the early to mid 80s, a lot in 84, which is cool, it being the year I was born. The clip of the guys present Grammy for album of the year is cool, notice the spot light is featured on Mike.
Here's then performing Surfin USA and GV at the Olympic Gala in 84.first thing I noticed on the video was that Mike's mic must be lower in volume than all the backing singers, which results in:
"If everybody had an ooooooooo
Across the US ooooooo
Then everybody'd be ooooo."

It's rather entertaining.

Reports from Dec. 28th 1983. Lots of performance footage I've never seen before, from when they performed at The White House.

Warning: Some of this is hard to watch. You see quite a few scenes of the body on the stretcher being taken away.

Hi everyone!

The "Ultimate Beach Boys Video Collection" is my channel.  I'm in the process of digitizing my entire Beach Boys VHS library and I wanted to share all the videos with fans who might not have seen any of this.  My collection is HUGE so this is a massive undertaking that's going to take a while.  If you subscribe to the channel, you'll get  an update everytime I add something.  Otherwise, bookmark the channel page and check back often.

I don't usually pay attention to this period of the group's career, but this kicks MAJOR ass. It's Bluebirds Over The Mountain from 2001. Is that Mike doing the vocal? If it is I'm SERIOUSLY impressed. It sounds like 1968 all over again.  Grin http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bdhlc8Wxbqk

It sounds like the 2009 version except there's no string intro, it just starts with the drum machin
