Live in 1978:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yc2PIYjPIaQ

1) Everyone's In Love With You
2) Country Pie
3) Heroes and Villains
4) Help Me, Rhonda
5) God Only Knows
6) Wouldn't It Be Nice

I wouldn't dare to open another thread on a YT link with well-known content in the general section - I guess most of you have seen this already. But it's new to me, so...  Smiley

This whole show is available on Amazon Digital! Go to Beach Boys "Albums" and you'll eventually scroll to it after various one-off cheapies and "Beach Boys Karaoke" junk. The cover is some awful generic thing with a picture of them from like 1964. Can't remember what the title of the thing is, but it's something lame like "Beach Boys Classic Collection"

Guess I'm dumb, but I couldn't find it.

Anybody know which venue? Carl looks a bit off, but sounds much better than he did on his bad night in Australia.

The show took place in the Sidney Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne, Australia on that infamous tour. March, 8th or 9th, take a look at the Pro Shot concert list in my signature.

Yeah, June 3rd. Again the Pro Shot Concert List. There's a lot nice footage to be found  Wink

@June 3rd '72: Just wanted to point out that is has been uploaded (again) on Youtube in slightly better quality than the older video which is hyperlinked in the "pro shot concerts" thread entry.  Smiley Maybe you wanted update that entry.  Grin

(To be honest I thought the footage I had already seen from that concert was from a different source, but this clearly isn't the case. Still, better quality now.  Wink)

Ida Blackburn interviews the Beach Boys in 1964 before an Oklahoma concert. Awesome concert footage at the beginning of the video, but there's no audio.

Did Dennis flirt with that interview at 7:51?  LOL

River Song - Hartford 1973

I believe this version comes from one of those 'rare live' compilations. I sure hope the circulating concert sounds better than this as it's often said to be excellent. Still a gem, but probably posted before Smiley

That's my video.  Cool.  You're right, it comes from one of the "Essential Live Collection" comps I downloaded a while ago.  I wish I had the rest of the concert, but I'm happy just to have River Song performed by the group.

"A Day In The Life Of A Tree" Live 1971. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OcorwiADBeM

Wish there was a soundboard recording because Brian sings it at the end and the crowd goes NUTS.

Aah. Thought so! I've found this collection as well. Has some cool gems, but I'm sure there are better quality versions available...somewhere Wink

That's actually not from Hartford. I'm not sure where it's from, but the version from Hartford is faster, and Blondie sings slightly different lyrics, if I remember correctly. I've noticed a few incorrectly labled recordings from the Essential Live Collection set.

Was that the one where Carl was very out of it? I have a copy of that show and it's dated from the 14th.

Thanks for pointing that out, I made a note in the video's description.  The last thing we need is more incorrect Beach Boys info out there, it's hard enough to get correct info on so much as it is.

I know the audio is circulating, but at least I don't remember seeing some parts before, like them playing "A Casual Look", "Love is A Woman", "Feel Flows", "All This is That" etc.

This seems to be an interview with Al, Brian, and Mike. The soundtrack apperently didn't survive. Al and Brian can be seen drinking straight from the bottle. What a strange time period for them!  Smokin http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zTKQ36th1dA

Love Mike Love's shirt here! Al is drinking Vichty mineral water from the bottle. I googled it Smiley
