A short Hal Blaine interview on The Beach Boys.

Watching that makes me think either Hal is senile, or if not that, then full of sh*t.
"Dennis wasn't a drummer" my ass. Both Hal AND Dennis were great drummers.
Heck, he doesn't even know they weren't the Pendletons, when they signed with Capitol.
He's just like most people out there: he's heard these stories, and he doesn't really remember( or never really knew)  and now he passes them on like the gospel
Heading toward Carol Kaye land, Hal, better watch out!

Wow... Could be a private thing or some charity event. Sadly there's not more BBs stuff on that user's channel.

I wonder when that Carl Wilson clip came from? I would give a semi-educated guess and say 1994. Carl seemed to be really struggling to hit some of the higher notes. Perhaps he was just having an off day. Other than the 1977-78 period, you rarely hear or see a film or recording of Carl not sounding his best. Even in the few recordings I've heard from 1997, he still sounded amazing

Adding Kissin' Time to the mix would have made it somewhat creative and interesting.
