RR, hope you won't hate me!
It's just been so crazy in this country lately, I'm resorting to silly stories to maintain some semblance of sanity.
Tomorrow I'll be going out of town for a couple of days and will be driving a lot. Have my Beach Boys, Rick Nelson, Beatles, Elvis, Blackwood Brothers CDs to play.
At the hotel I'll read some books
Then I'll go see Brian and Co.

The concert was great.
Went to the Soundcheck and heard Catch a Wave (Brian and Matt leads), and Hawaii (Al and Matt leads). Rehearsed Surfer Girl and Sail on Sailor, maybe something else. Then we had to leave, as members of the band stood in a circle practicing harmony for Sail on Sailor.
Then got something to eat and relaxed until the doors opened for the concert.
Brian was in good voice considering it was the 4th show in 4 nights in 4 different cities in 3 different states. However, there wasn't the stage banter that I heard from him at the last 2 shows attended.
After the show Blondie came out briefly. Al came out and stayed a good while, shaking lots of hands (including mine) and signing autographs.
A great night overall.

John, You have the right to do whatever makes you happy. Say whatever you want to say, wherever you want to say it. That's what I do.

Thanks, Will. I remember Brian Auger from his work with Julie Driscoll and with Centipede. I see the Oblivion Express is very much a family affair. Nice electric piano (and Moog) on this!
And thanks for the advice. Although maybe I should stay off the subject of blue cheese. It's losing me friends right, left and centre, lol.
And, not least, thanks for dropping by. :=)

Big deal - click "refresh" 20 times till the page appears. It gets back very quick.
All solved now, RR.
Leaving aside the differences of opinion, I'm fascinated by the interplay (on several levels) between ours and the new board and the impact its arrival has had on BB MB poster behaviour in general. Maybe someone should write a book about it.
Seriously, a book about Beach Boys fandom would make a great read!

You don't like horses? Neigh to that!
I've always been around horses as my oldest sister has had them since her early teens. She has 2 now, Caspian and Elan (Cas is a "rescue horse", saved from starvation. They are so funny and playful. So I love them.
Of course, you might have been around them too, which is why you don't care for them. Mucking out the barn to get rid of their business is a chore...
Anyway, John K, it is good to see him there. Envious of his BB memorabilia.

I don't like horses as animals. Seeing that gif wasn't good. I like cats!
But may I ask who do you talk about? I don't rmbr such username "the Horse".
It's SS poster bringahorseinhere? (He leaves off the ? at PSF).
A fine gentleman whom I found myself agreeing with on many occasions. And now he's back in circulation. :=)

Btw, NOLA, who's in your avatar? Chocolate birds with toy boy?
That's my "Mr Bill" doll. When I was working, during stressful times I'd tangle it up in the window blinds or other places to show that he was in a bit of trouble. Oh noooooooooo!!!
In my avatar, some wooden birds are about to make mincemeat of him. Very Hitchcockian.
Thought you'd like that.
Birds with boy toy! Oh my, maybe I'd better change it!

Nice gif! I'm doing fine, and so is Horse I guess - he's posting again, and shouting. Sitting around watching College football, LSU vs. Florida Gators. A real nail biter. :03 left, and LSU needs a touchdown to win. They are on the one yard line...
Bummer! Florida held them on fourth down for the win. That's the way it goes. Later tonight I get to see the Arkansas Razorbacks vs. Mississippi State. Hope The Razorbacks can win - they are, along with LSU and Alabama, my favorite College teams. Alabama looks unstoppable this year. We'll know for sure in early December.
First, it's time to go have a hamburger with baked beans for dinner. Smells good in the kitchen. It's been a simple Saturday. Maybe some snow by midnight.
