Does anyone know the circumstances which resulted in Paul and Linda attending Brian's 34th birthday party?  Were they on a tour stop in the area?  How were they invited?  It is just so cool to see them all hanging out together and Linda holding up and "selling" the 15 Big Ones album.

Al dressed like a monk is definitely a bonus.

Wings was on the Wings Over the World Tour. They played in Arizona on the 18th and had the next two nights off, followed by 3 nights playing in LA.
So, they were in town with the night off.

Dennis was at the second night of the L.A. stand at The Forum on 6/22.
15 songs from Rockshow were filmed that night.

Back around 2000 or 2001, Al was mixing the Vegas album in San Francisco and the local station (KTVU) interviewed Al in the studio during their morning show. As they were interviewing Al, they were looping BB footage, and of course as if often the case, the "An American Band" footage was the go-to source, and it was the Brian birthday footage.

When the footage cut to 1976 Al (at Brian's party), Al simply noted something like "wow, a lot of hair." He seemed pretty amused.

Yeah, the band was pretty much at its hairiest during the Brian's Back period. Not even the Jack Rieley years can compete.
