I forgot the name of the song but I swear I have heard this with vocals, I'm thinking it was Brian singing.. maybe it's on one of those  bootleg cds that features the early years of the beach boys or from one of the recent copyright cd's that they released the pat couple years ,it sounds VERY familiar. it also sounds like what evolved into "Pamela Jean" and "car crazy Cutie". I know that I have heard this before though....unless there's another song with Brian singing that is very similar to this..

I'm not able to listen right now, but I thought the contention/assumption was that "Pink Champagne" was the early title for what Murry Wilson recorded as "Italia" for the "Many Moods" album. This is also what's contended in Jim Murphy's book (as pointed to above).

Is this YouTube clip the same (compositionally or otherwise) as "Italia"? As I said, I can't listen on the computer at the moment (nor can I claim to have listened that many times to "Many Moods").

It's the track called "Side Two" (not "Lonely Days" as in the video) on The Beach Boys Get the Boot, Vol. 1 (track 3):

And there's this from Philip Lambert:

That is side two!!!! I knew it sounded way too familiar! Thanks for solving the case! So this Pink Champagne song is still hidden in the vaults somewhere. I will fix the info! I just seen that two different boots labeled it wrong as Pink Champagne.
