Near the end of the American Band documentary, Dennis is shown singing a song with these lyrics:

If I knew what I could say to make you laugh, I'd probably talk forever

What a wonderful lyric! What is this song?

The words are a bit different, but it's from the song "Forever" which is on the Sunflower album.

Did it ever occur to you, Cable, how wise and bountiful God was to put breasts on a woman? Just the right number in just the right place. Did you ever notice that, Cable?

If every word I said
Could make you laugh
I'd talk forever
I ask the sky just what we had
Mmm It shone forever
If the song I sing to you
Could fill your heart with joy
I'd sing forever

Thanks a lot.

Though, I prefer the way I remembered the lyrics to the actual lyrics...

Haha, that's happened to me with a few songs. I still sing my own version if I really like them better.   Cheesy

Pardon me while I resist the temptation to rip into a noob.

Kidding.
