Are songwriters/painters allowed? Because I can think of one. Smiley

No, not unless you consider Microsoft paint to be a visual art. I'm a big fan of the medium though, and I'd love to try my hand at painting someday. I've been thinking about taking a couple college classes at some point for drawing and painting. If we stretch the definition of "visual arts" a bit, I have made some videos in the past for various reasons. I currently have some ideas for a few, although I don't know if they'll ever be made.

Yes, I remember seeing those before. Those are good cartoons.

I take it you mean Don Van Vliet, rural expressionist... Cool Guy

I just love William Blake's stuff, written and drawn. And how about Spike Milligan?

Above: William Blake, below: Spike Milligan

Today I saw a little worm

Today I saw a little worm
Wriggling on his belly.
Perhaps he’d like to come inside
And see what’s on the Telly.

Mervyn Peake, who would be well remembered as an illustrator and artist had he never written the Gormenghast books

James Thurber, an idiosyncratic and simple but hilarous art style, even more hilarious prose.

Victor Hugo

William Blake

Wow, ub. Interestingly, Hugo and Peake both spent time in the Channel Islands (Guernsey and Sark respectively).
