Coming this fall as a 2 CD set.

"In 2011 we released a mostly definitive 5 CD box set chronicling the sessions of the unreleased Beach Boysalbum, SMiLE. As comprehensive as we were there were still things that were excluded for one reason or another. Here we hope to gather the Best of what's left. Here we find some more sessions from when Brian was at his best in the studio. Also included are some A Capella tracks that still exist on the original master tapes. We also included more of the sketches Brian and company recorded durring the album giving a better glimpse into the humor element of the album. Paul McCartneys legendary visit to the studio is included as well with a jam session of  'On Top Of Ol' Smokey' the result. Also included for the first time are the recently unearthed Inside Pop vocal session that were captured by a film crew in 1966. New stereo mixes of select tracks were assembled using these tapes. The footage is currently being remastered for an upcoming Beach Boys retrospective. The set rounds off with various smile related recordings from 1967-1979. We hope this set will bring a sense of finality with the SMiLE sessions who's legacy has grown for half a century."

Don't forget the bonus track, "Sessions Goes Bad", the legendary "Surf's Up" session that goes badly and the guys get pissed at Brian and he's all like "Get out of here and I'll do it myself".

Totally real! Just check out the Brian Wilson website. They just updated it with never before seen photos from the Do You Like Worms session where Brian is wearing a flower lei and grass skirt! I've been dreaming of this box set for, like, ever!

I knew it was fake because there are no "Oatmeal" sessions.

I knew the tracklisting was incomplete because the 'vegetables' session reel, an insider has informed me, has the overdub
carrot and celery tracks on a separate stereo tracks.  According to my information, McCartney was not thrilled that his
timing of his crunching was out so to this day denies even remembering it.  But the master tape clearly shows he was there.

And anybody with a good ear can hear in the isolated track, that dull resonance that was produced as the carrot particles contacted Paul's irregularly shaped lower right molar.  It's unmistakably Paul, end of discussion.

I'm almost as psyched about this release as the upcoming Kinks reunion cd where Ray kindly agrees to share the songwriting 50/50 with Dave.

I was going to ask Steve Desper in the 'ask the honoured guests' thread but I did not want to start a world war 3 with this info.
I believe he has those tracks as his disposal but I did not want to push the issue and upset the guy.
Those stereo 'chomps' were recorded at 15ips on Scotch tape, which has until been recently, been mislabelled, and discovered
within the vault.  Apparently Brian recorded the stereo overdub to a separate tape machine while mixing the 'chomps' down to mono
on the original master.  The outtake 'chomps' clock in at around 30 minutes, and features Brian, Macca, Carl and possibly Dennis, but
this cannot be confirmed.  It is rumoured Van Dyke may also be 'chomping' but that is just 'here say'.
Hope Brother Records/Capitol can take the sketch of that tracklist, and compile these other pieces and bring us Smile Sessions Vol,2
There is so much more there that can be salvaged.
