"Deirdre"...I can't be seen in public with that song, yet I can't resist.  It's even better if you listen to it thinking that the song is not about a girl, but an ode to a returned Irish Setter.

"We'll take a bath"...? The mind boggles! LOL

Actually, some people use "we" to mean "you" in a baby-talk sort of way.  "Yes, we need to take a bath because we've been out rolling around in **** again, haven't we?  Yes we have!"

Point taken! Love the song, no matter what percentage of it is Brian's. :=)

I enjoy 99% of the catalog, and most of it is not embarrassing to me. I do turn down the radio if other people are in the car and Summer of love comes on!

It's About Time

It's almost too dated to take seriously....yet it rocks!  I really like it, but I don't think I could bring myself to play it for any of my friends or family.

Probably the only song I wouldn't play around anyone but myself is Hey Little Tomboy.  So awkward and creepy, yet I have to sing along every time it comes on.  LOL

Everything I Touch Turns To Tears on Country Love. It has an almost autobiographical lyric (that is, if Mike wrote the lyrics).

Really? That's one of the few songs I *can* play around non-fans without getting stares.

And production aside, I’d so much rather hear a 14 year old David Marks shred some guitar on Chug-a-lug than hear a 51 year old Mike Love sing about bangin some chick in a swimming pool.-rab2591

I'm not even sure anymore, hell I've even listened to 'Salute Nascar' twice this week. Shocked

I'm grooving to the Disco-fied Here Comes The Night right now! Grin

You poor bastard! How can you listen to that Adrian Baker awfulness that is Salute NASCAR? LOL

I don't see how the disco Here Comes the Night could ever be a guilty pleasure. It's an AWESOME track.

I don't feel guilty about any of the Love You tracks  Grin

I find myself belting out some of the early tracks with trite lyrics more often than I should

My Beach Boys guilty pleasure is It's OK.

California Feelin = no guilt. That weird old mix with the full band, synth high in the mix is amazing!

I'm not sure, I guess its just a warning in case someone should send for help! Grin

I've also admittedly got Hey Little Tomboy stuck in my head more often than is probably healthy. I particularly love Carls line "time you turned into a GIRRRLLL".

Transcendental Meditation. I think that one seems to be held in pretty low regard by many but The saxes get to me!
