Does someone have the date/city where "Pitter Patter" was performed?

The performances of "Oh Darlin'" and other songs from that 1980 "Going Platinum" TV special were all mimed.
Some of the mixes used to mime are slightly different from the finished album mixes (backing vocals missing at the end of "Oh Darlin'" for instance), but they aren't live or even live vocals on pre-recorded backing track.

I guess that explains a lot, I thought it sounded a lot like, but not similar, to the studio version, it makes sense that it's an alternate mix!

I don't know of any time that the BB played "I Know There's An Answer" live.
I believe they tried Cabinessence once in the early 70s and TM song once with Al on the lead

WILD HONEY 7. I'd Love Just Once to See You [Love, Wilson] This was performed live at Kenwood House, London, on June 28, 2008. At least, I can't remember bellowing "IN THE NUDE!" in public on any other occasion... http://members.tripod.com/~fun_fun_fun/6-28-08.htmlThank you for the information! That would be cool to see live! It was! There was this major Wild Honey fan sitting next to me who simply could not believe his ears when they announced "ILJOTSY"...

Correct, I left "I Know There's An Answer" off the list of PS songs never performed. I haven't heard of an attempt at "Cabinessence." Not sure on "TM Song"; setlist.fm is far from complete, especially for older decades, but it only shows Al's 2014 performance. But they were trying stuff out in the late 70s that often didn't last long.

Checked in my book and saw that the bbs played "surf jam" in 1963, including September 21 1963 show in Portland.

Blueberry hill from 15 big ones was also performed in 1976, for example at the August show in Columbus Ohio

"Summer Of Love" on the Baywatch opening credits wasn't performed live. Did they perform it live at any show?

Real Barnyard-I don't think you can count that version of "That Same Song" filmed for a TV Special as a "live performance." My understanding of the thread is live concerts before audiences-not live performances before studio audiences on TV or filmed appearances with no audience. If I am incorrect a lot more can be added.....

I would be surprised if Spirit of America, Girls On the Beach or The Man with All the Toys were never played live

Carl is my favorite Beach Boys vocalist, but that has to be the most dreary, boring performance by the band ever! It looks like Carl is completely bored, and Al looks bored as well.

Ok. Then we shouldn't include Never Learn Not to Love, Slip on Through and Summer of Love. Also I couldn't find information about White Christmas, Anna Lee, The Healer, Be With Me and Deirdre being played live. A Young Man Is Gone was sung live in Helsinki according to this setlist: http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/the-beach-boys/1967/messuhalli-helsinki-finland-2bdb203e.htmlBut probably they sang Their Hearts Were Full Of Spring instead. Could it be confirmed?

"Slip on Through" is a 100% live performance for TV. I'd keep that one. "That Same Song" is kind of a grey area, but strikes me as a pretty close to a "live in a recording studio" situation (even though it's not an actual recording studio). They wouldn't have easily replicated that sort of performance at a live concert. Whereas, "Slip on Through" is just the band alone performing live for TV (don't know if there was an audience or not). It's often attributed to "The Dennis Wolley Show", but a quick Google search makes me wonder if it's actually this guy, who had a TV show starting in 1969 called "The Dennis Wholey Show": https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dennis_Wholey

Yes it is Dennis wholey and was recorded in Cincinnati probably on the November 1969 tour as we list at bellagio. You'll also find a reference to this on page 128 of my book under the entry for the Aragon ballroom show
