Beach Boy Songs Never Done Live, but should have been . . . .

I always wanted to hear the BB play Girl Don't Tell Me with just Carl and playing acoustically - I think it would have been a nice fit with the acoustic sets they have done from time to time.
To my knowledge the song was never done live.
Another one: Good to My Baby ... .

Good to my baby has been performed numerous times post-1998 by Mike & Bruce, with Randell on lead.
Girl Don't Tell me has been done by Al Jardine Family & Friends.
It would be cool if Brian's band would do Diamond Head live!

The Beach Boys performed GDTM live at least once in 1965. Not sure if it was played acoustically, though.

Good To My Baby has also been a regular in the set with Foskett singing Brian's part (and Mike obviously singing his own parts) since 2013.
I have a vague memory that Brian may have done Girl Don't Tell Me as well, but couldn't swear to it. Possibly as part of the acoustic sets at the Smile shows?

They did that fairly regularly in 1976.

Brian's band has done "Time To Get Alone".
Up until recently, we could have put "All I Wanna Do" on this list.

ah indeed, sorry I misinterpreted this thread as songs 'not' done by the Beach Boys live.
in that case, I believe Brian has done 'Surfer Moon' too at some stage, but not sure.

I think Brian's band has done Girl Don't Tell Me in recent years.

I'd love to hear Brian's band do "I Went To Sleep".
Preferably with Brian doubling Matt on falsetto.

Some versions circulate on audience recordings. We're not allowed to point people to them on here, but if you google for shows from 1976 (and possibly 1977) you'll probably find them fairly easily, though the recordings are pretty rough for the most part.

It was in the set last year, they played it a Ravinia, which was one of my favorite surprises of the show.

On our way through this "backstage" maze, Bruce joined up with the group and said hello, singing "It Never Rains in Southern California" and joking with some of the older ladies. I'm not sure if they knew he was a Beach Boy or simply an enthusiastic elderly gay gentleman.

They did "Island Girl" at least a few times in 1989/1990. There's an old camcorder video of a 1990 show where they do "Island Girl", and I believe Al even sings some of Carl's parts.

Of course most people will be familar with the version from L'ed in Hawai, but I would LOVE to see modern day Brian perform The Letter.
