The Paris setlist is up at setlist.fm. Appears identical, and I'm assuming the listing for "Cool Cool Water" is actually "California Saga."

I've updated the top post with the recent European setlists. No new additions, and it looks like the Basel show got a slightly shortened setlist.

The Dubai show just finished, reports indicate a 1.5h show without intermission

Carl Wilson is not amused.

Yeah, I love it when he does something slightly different in an old song, like that particular phrase. Would you call it a melissma or just a slightly different melody?

I wouldn't be surprised if it was trouble with his back, after seeing him in the wheelchair and whatnot. Happy to hear he brushed it off though. If he survived the Landy era, then one little fall should be nothing!  Wink

I think the chair slipped from under him when he went to sit in it.

Short report from Oslo show:
Yeah, Brian fell off his chair for the encore – it looked dramatic – The Spektrum fell silent, 3000 people held their breath - Paul Mertens and three others got him back on his feet. This was just before going into GV. Brian asked if we wanted some Bad Vibrations!:), -  well seated again he got into song as if nothing had happened.
Highlights from the show; Wake the world/add som music. Wild honey/Sail on Sailor with Blondie in top form. 2,5 hours, with intermission.
I was surprised how many leads Brian took throughout the show – almost all leads on PS. Great reviews in all news papers here.

Great show last night in Malmö, Sweden, the last show of the European leg.  Excellent concert hall.
Brian was in fantastic mood and in fine physical shape.  Looks like the Olso's fall had zero repercussions so no worries there.  Several funny Brianisms.
No surprises in the set list, which was to be expected.

I can post the set list later, for reference.

I've posted a link on the top post for the Malmö setlist.

Still nothing on setlist.fm for the previous two shows from November 3 or November 6.

Hi everyone, I'd like to review the Paris show at Salle Pleyel -
I found it strange that Brian's autobiography wasn't for sale as part of the tour merchandise - fortunately there is Amazon!
Blondie Chaplin walked in the waiting room, it was great to see him, he shook his hand with someone who bent in reverence.
When we entered the concert hall, classical arrangements of Beach Boys songs were playing in the background.
Eventually the concert started - Brian and the band completely nailed the first part! The sound at the first balcony in Pleyel wasn't great though.
Matt seemed to have some difficulties hitting the highest notes, maybe some kind of voice extinction (eg the beginning of Don't Worry Baby), but he has such a great voice anyway. Blondie brings so much energy to the show, even if his guitar solos are "special" ahah. I loved his set of songs. They played "You're so Good To me", people at the front didn't calp except for one person which Al noticed ! "Glad you like it"... Well most of the people at this concert (including me) waited years before seeing Brian live. Somehow they were a public of listeners so I can understand why they didn't clap that much at the front.
I was so looking forward to hearing Pet Sounds! Overall I wasn't disappointed.  Their live version of the instrumental "Pet Sounds" has to be my favorite version of the song, maybe my highlight of the show. The way Brian ended "I know there's an answer" was tremendous. His way of singing "I Just Wasn't made for these times" now was remarkable. Al sung the "I guess HE just wasn't made for these times"! Unfortunately, Brian's singing of "I'm Waiting for the day" wasn't great, he coughed during the first verse. Matt was a bit low in the mix, maybe because of the issue with his voice extinction (I'm unsure). Darian sung Darlin', I'm so glad he could make it to the show, Darian is such an important part of Brian's recent history. Al's Wake the World was great. Brian nailed Love & Mercy.
At the end of the show, Al stayed a little while and shook hands with people at the front of the public. I should have bought a seat there :-)

Hi all,
First post!

I wrote about seeing the tour in Toronto, Ottawa, and Detroit for a website called The Talkhouse. Hope you like it.

Welcome cpeck, and thanks for posting this. I really enjoyed it, nicely written. I was also at the Massey Hall show -- not a day goes by that I don't flash back to it and get the same chills as I did at the show.

Thanks very much - that Massey Hall show was truly remarkable.

Thanks for sharing. Even though it looks like its been put together by a high school student. Compared to what McCartney's and The Rolling Stones video crew does heck even Chicago this video was subpar as f*** . I really hope they didn't pay anyone for this.

I can only speak to McCartney, but while his "official videos" online may be more polished, they're less revealing or substantive than a fortune cookie fortune, so it kinda doesn't matter. Rarely do these Facebook/YouTube "official videos" offer anything of substance. It's a TV commercial, only they don't have to pay to put it on TV.

It's like the McCartney "You Gave Me the Answer" fan questions segment they continue to do, with questions about on par with "Brian, what's your favorite pizza?"

In the case of this Brian video, it appears this is simply to prime the well for people to buy show tickets and VIP packages.
