Could not figure out how to access Pre-sale codes either. A lot of the seats were locked out if you did not have code.

But I got two tickets for the Horseshoe show in July!

Can't wait, this will be our first BW concert!

Wow, a Pet Sounds performance will be your first BW show.  Awesome.

Enjoy!!

Does anybody on here know how to obtain the presale codes for tomorrow morning?

For the NPP Tour, I was emailed a code just before the presale.  I think I'd signed up for it when I registered for the BW Forum.

I put something on the BW Forum to confirm whether or not I would get a similar email but my, and other similar, questions are being unanswered.

I just want to make sure I'm not shut out as the venue I'm shooting for is not a big one.

I have no idea if pre sale codes are different for each venue but the Portland Maine show was Pet Sounds

I just checked the website for the Strathmore in Bethesda, and there is no mention at all of a Brian Wilson concert.

Thanks! I wasn't aware of the tour until today, saw it on Bing and the tickets due to go on sale at 10:00am.
Really floored that she said don't worry about the price get the best seats you can.

I don't think I have fully taken in the import of today's good fortune.

It will hit me when I see the cc statement, no doubt.  Wink

BTW there are 4 Horseshoe Casinos on the Tour and we will be at the Elizabeth, IN one.

When I saw Horseshoe, I was hoping he'd be at the one in Baltimore.  But I don't think our Horseshoe has a concert venue.

He's clearly not advertising himself and his band as the C50 Beach Boys.  I think that's a plus for him.  Don't you?

And this has exactly what to do with this conversation?

My first BW show was also a PS one, back in January 2002. Still keep the t-shirt I bought in everyday rotation. :-) Great show, great memories.

Has anyone figured out what site is selling tickets to the 7/17 and 7/18 Boston Symphony Hall shows w/ The Boston Pops?  I assume they will go on presale tomorrow, but haven't even found a stub for the show on Ticketmaster or anything...

We are all lucky that Brian is giving us Pet Sounds live a final time. And making it back to the UK as well.

We are. Just got my ticket for the Manchester Apollo -- Row F. I'll be buying one for Liverpool on Friday, probably with the VIP option...

Thanks

Only for the Manchester show. The tickets were, if I recall, forty-six to sixty-four pounds, but I imagine the London tickets will be more. VIP options aren't available til Friday, so no idea about their cost yet.

There seem to be two tiers of VIP package -- one with everything at around three hundred quid, and one with just the soundcheck and a poster at around one hundred -- for most shows. I will only be purchasing the cheaper VIP option, if that's available. Having been lucky enough to meet Brian twice before, I can't see paying an extra two hundred for that.

Thanks Andrew-I agree, the London shows will be more-just wanted a ball park figure. Not sure I can justify the VIP packages although the soundcheck one does sound promising!

Yeh I noticed the 2 tiers, I've never had the pleasure of meeting him before so this will be a once in a lifetime for me... Only thing is I may have to sell by signed drum skin to fund it....decisions decisions!

Frankly, I'd advise against it if meeting Brian, specifically, is the main draw for you. Brian's *band* are all lovely people (Probyn and Nelson in particular are two of the friendliest people you'll ever meet, but they're all nice), and Al the one time I met him was very nice, but Brian on both occasions I've met him (both at meet and greets before they started charging for them) was fairly unresponsive with everyone -- signing things and being polite, but clearly not paying attention and wanting to be elsewhere. I'm very glad I had the opportunity to meet him, and treasure the memory, but had it been something I'd paid a lot of money for, rather than something I was lucky enough to get thanks to the generosity of friends with contacts, I'd probably have been disappointed.

(That said, my most recent experience of meeting Brian was in 2004. Possibly those who've been to more recent meet-and-greets have had different experiences?)

If the draw is meeting Al or the band members, on the other hand, that would be a different matter.

The signed lithograph and god only knows lead sheet also appeals... I've got visions of them in a cool display frame taking pride of place in my new extension!!  Obv the main draw for me though would be the chance of a meet and possibly a photo with him?? Not sure on the etiquette around photos at these things though if I'm honest...I've heard mixed things?..

I'm pretty sure the meet and greet package includes a photo taken with Brian -- and I think Al and Blondie.

Interestingly on the US VIP packages it mentions the photo specifically but no mention of it on the worldwide VIP package page on the BW website.... Maybe it's just me reading too much into it!

How does the presale for the US VIP packages work? Do I need a password or can I just click the presale link on Brian's site?

Can someone explain why in the list of tour dates posted  on Brianwilson.com,  for the July 23 show at the Horseshoe Casino it specifically includes an asterisk indicating that this show "features Blondie Chaplin" ?
Blondie is part of the entire tour. Why is this the only show that has Blondie specifically singled out ?
