Brian AND the Boston Pops? Damn, that sounds like it'll be the highlight of the tour.

Second Sydney show on sale now at the Sydney Opera House on Thursday 31 March - the first show is the Tuesday night so the stars have aligned for a get together on the Wednesday night - I'm on to it.

No Auckland 26th or Bluesfest (Aust) 28th mention on Brian's tour page? Strange http://www.brianwilson.com/tour/

Any insider knowledge on a European tour. Looks to be not happening this summer or sooner.

I wouldn't make too much of Brian's website missing dates. They NEVER added the 2004 San Francisco Smile date to the site. I went to it, it did happen!

Barely acceptable for a music site listing tours ie RS. Its just sloppy, unprofessional, and amateurish for his own website.....oh wait

I saw the last Pet Sounds tour with the orchestra & band. It was excellent. Curious how this one is.

Probably not a lot different from this clip last year. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W2Zwo_wCoIUSeveral other PS clips from 2015 are available so a good indication.

I saw a 2007 "Pet Sounds" gig with Al in attendance, and the only difference from the 2000 PS tour was that Al took on * a few* lead vocal parts. They played "WIBN" in the lower key Brian did in 2000, and Al took the second verse. (I'm guessing they won't do that variation on the upcoming tour, perhaps just giving the lead to Matt or Al in the higher key). Al also sang part of "Sloop" (Brian and Al have been trading off different parts of that song across all the gigs they've done together), and sang his original part on "I Know There's an Answer" (which was perhaps the coolest part of Al's input on the PS set). In more recent times, they had Foskett singing "Don't Talk", so they may toss that one to Matt.

Oh, look, the venues have changed... Seriously, someone's been thinking with their brains (and I think I know who), looks like a fine tour. Waiting for the first bitch, of course - "too soon/too far away/too many/too few/(your plaint here)".

I'll be going to at least Manchester and Liverpool, and possibly others depending on family commitments. Looking forward to this. Do we know if Al and Blondie will be on these dates?

I see Stainforth's been left out again… what are we going to do with all the unsold milk chocolate digestives bought in anticipation? Guess it's gonna be maybe Manchester and/or Glasgow… is Bank Holiday weekend a wise choice? Moan moan moan bloody moan…

I'd lay a modest wager they will be, given other overseas dates.
