The only slated track for the unreleased "S&S 2" I can find is Tammy Wynette's cover version of "In My Room"... have any other slated tracks for this album been mentioned??

"Sail on sailor" with Rodney Crowell, to be found on the DVD.
It's also been said that Al's newly recorded "California" (from the ESQ-CD) was a demo for Merle Haggard.

With the right people, it could have been a very cool album. If you're interested check out the review-section for some thoughts about "guest stars" I have....

The only songs slated for Vol. 2 that I've seen confirmed are those already mentioed - "In My Room" & "SOS" - plus "Surfer Girl" by Ronnie Milsap.

BTW, the version of "IMR" on the Tammy tribute album is remixed from the original - only Brian's vocals are heard on it.

AGD wasn't there some magazine talking 'bout that album way back when and they mentioned some other songs? I think I have heard that but I can't recall where....

You can hear the true BBs version of "In My Room" with Tammy on the DVD. The track is not just remixed for the Wynette tribute -- it is totally re-recorded with Imagination-era Brians surrounding Tammy's vocal. The loss of Carl's prominent part really stings. Say, that's about what happened with "Soul Searchin'," ain't it?
