I treated myself to this and put it in the car this morning. I didn't get to listen to it all but was impressed with the version of Long Promised Road (even with the obvious mistake!) and having never really fallen in love with the studio albums before, came across Hurry Love which was soon on repeat. It's much better and much more soulful than the studio version and I keep thinking it should have Beach Boys vocals to make it more of a BB song! It's in the mould of Angel Come Home I think.

So having listened to just 5 songs so far I'm glad I spent the money on it.

Cool, will have to check this out. Love the first disc, nice to hear it in high quality sound after listening to a 3rd generation cassette for years.
