I checked the list of people and by coincidence, Alec Baldwin has, among others, Irish descent. Typing both surnames, though - "baldwin irish" and his mother's nee - revealed that both have Irish origin. Bruce maybe has Irish roots from mother then.

If Bruce is distantly related to Alec Baldwin, then Bruce is related to the guy (Alec Baldwin) reading spoken words on Al's solo album (as eloquently as Jack Rieley did the Fairy Tale)... and that also means that Bruce is related to the Alec Baldwin's brother William, husband of Chynna Phillips from Wilson Phillips... plus, of course, Alec Baldwin is in the film The Departed, a film which prominently features the song Sail On, Sailor.

And that would all mean that Bruce is even more connected to everything in the BB universe than anyone ever thought possible.

I wonder if even the original Beach Boys members themselves know the details of Bruce's origin story, regarding his adoption. I understand how private he is about it, though I would *assume* that on all the tours they spent together, the subject must have come up when chatting over Scrabble for the 1000th time?
