That was really good and funny. Jimmy even had Mike's dance moves down perfectly. Everyone was playing the correct instruments and I think the guy playing Dennis was drumming left handed. Cool too that they did it in black and white. Very cool! Smiley

Off topic, but last time Kevin Bacon was on the Tonight Show, he parodied Footloose.  Cheesy

That was fun..and funny. I think Kevin Bacon attended the L&M premiere in Los Angeles. I suspect his a BW fan and I'm pretty sure Fallon is too.

These were clearly Brian's first-draft lyrics, before Mike made them "relatable."

Now that I think about it, they could well be Brian's first-draft lyrics for most of his songs, up to today ...

So, how many degrees of separation is Brian from Kevin Bacon?  LOL

Many thanks for the link -- I love Fallon's parodies and this was a great one!

As a musician, I believe two -- Jon Bon Jovi, the co-author of "Summer's Gone" is a guest on the Bacon Brothers' first album.

As for acting, I believe three -- Brian appeared on the "The New Leave it to Beaver," which featured Barbara Billingsley,  who according to Legacy.com, appeared "in 1987's Back to The Beach ... with David Bowe, who was in A Few Good Men (1992) with Kevin Bacon."

And go-go dancers on Shindig and The TAMI Show were a far cry from Mike's Beach Boys Cheerleaders(!)

You can tell from this and their appearance in 2012 that Fallon is a huge BB fan.  I love how they captured that old Black and White video look with HD cameras.

Fun fun fun perhaps but not funny funny funny sorry.  Dumb works sometimes but -- oh well I appreciate the effort!  The Lovester dance moves are definitely the highlight!
