In Places Where New Things Might Be Found

I picked my album up a couple months ago at a local antique shop, because of how obsessed I am with Pet Sounds. Only $7!

It's in pretty good condition, though the side of the sleeve is split. The record itself has a couple skips, but it's definitely good playing quality.

How can I find out what pressing/year it is?

There should be a serial number etched on the wax near the center of the disc.

From that serial number you can determine what year and where it was pressed. Go to the Steve Hoffman site for more info on Pet Sounds pressings. He was the engineer who did the DCC Gold version of Pet Sounds.
