An authentic photograph featuring Dennis Wilson (and any other BBs) posing with Charles Manson.

One (or more) probably must have been taken, or have existed at some point. Or at least one would think. For how long a period of time did Dennis know Manson before they fell out?

But if ever there was a case of wanting to destroy/burn the negative, this would be it.

I wonder if any famous BB clothing/outfits have at some point been discarded and/or donated, and wound up in a Salvation Army or Goodwill somewhere? Maybe these items are sitting in some non-BB fan's closet right now, or in a landfill?

I wonder where are the current whereabouts of Carl's 1980 Knebworth jacket? Mike's late '60s robes? Denny's Fleetwood Mac t-shirt? David Marks' embarrassingly-oversized suit jacket from the 1962 Bel Air Bay Club gig?

Didn't all of these end up in Peter Reum's collection?

The Lovester's Long Lost Sax.

Might still be somewhere in Urbana, Ohio.

Not necessarily. There's only one known authenticated photo of Charlie at Dennis' house, where he lived for several months, and it's very poor quality. I'm guessing people either didn't have cameras or had better things to be doing. Likewise the sandbox: no photos are known to exist (although I'm chasing down a rumour).

The master tape containing the entire session of the snippet at the fadeout of 20/20's All I Want To Do.

It is indeed surprising that no sandbox photos exist... just shows what a different time it was back then. Still, all it took was a photography-inclined friend carrying around a Brownie camera for documented evidence to have survived.

That exists in the BRI vault and has been cataloged: my suggestion for it to be a hidden track on MiC was politely declined...

The actual wording is reportedly "I can do better - take two !".  Grin

I'd settle contentedly for....

an I BRAKE FOR BRIAN WILSON bumper sticker (I'd prefer several, they wear out)

a toy ukulele given out at LEI'D IN HAWAII

a nice old original woolen PENDLETON shirt in my size of course.  I'm wearing a PENDLETON shirt right now, honest, but the label reads "Warranted to be a PENDLETON.  Pendleton Woolen Mills. Portland OR.  Made in Indonesia"

Actually she did!  I think there's a thread around here where Stephen Desper talks about getting a signed release from her before Dennis, ahem, gets a release from her...   Wink

I've always thought a 66 original 'Pet Sounds' album signed by 6 Beach Boys would be pretty sweet.

http://www.people.com/people/archive/article/0,,20108073,00.html

...It is all too clear that Brian's struggle for mental health has been difficult. His memory is sketchy and his behavior sometimes eccentric. (Greeted by an unfamiliar visitor, he retreats into a wooden phone booth in his living room to compose himself.).....

I have Mike's green jacket from the infamous 1978 Australasian tour.
