Tried that last year, preparing a list of Mike-free BB tracks that our resident trolls, F&S could listen to without fear of taint, and also pointed out the towering hypocrisy inherent in hating someone so much yet happily listening to, say, "Fun, Fun, Fun". Cue the expected milquetoast excuse.  Grin

It's quite common, actually. Some CCR fans hate John Fogerty  (they line up behind Stu Cook, Doug Clifford, and their CCRevisted band).
And don't dare mention to a Mark Lindsay fan that you actually saw Paul Revere and the Raiders after Mark left the group.

Generally I cut Mike a swath.  I 'get' what he's about.  I just don't 'dig' the comments he makes from time to time although the most recent interview suggested that Mike was playin' 'it' pretty cool as of late.  But every now and then I get pointed toward some age-old shyte and guess what?  It pisses me off... ... ...yet again.

Sorry for being so 'dumpy' yesterday.  I am looking forward to seeing and hearing Mike and the current rendidtion of the Beach Boys 2 weeks tomorrow.  Sorry, too, in advance 'cause I know I'll loose it again somewhere along the line before the snow flies.  And...when it goes public...it IS my business.  Still...over 50-some-odd-years...the good does compete on close to equal footing with the bad... ... ...maybe it actually fares even better.
