Some time ago I was driving to pick up my daughters from their daycare and noticed a street named Smiley.  I must've passed that street sign hundreds of times but I never noticed it before.  After that, I noticed a hotel chain not too far away from my house, Hawthorn Suites.

And finally, for the last 15 years since my wife and I married and bought the house we still reside in, my way to and from work takes me down a street named Wilson Road.

So those are my examples, do you have any?

Outside of a local high school, there are plaques representing donors to the school. Some of which include "Audree Wilson" and "Barbara and Ann" To me, that's spooky.

I have no idea where your local high school is, but it could be "our" Audree Wilson. She was a supporter of school music programs. See link below:

We have a Wilson Street that runs parallel to Johnston Street. My guilty secret though is naming an upmarket street Kokomo Key.

When I was a kid, there were these two intersecting streets that occasionally gave grief to people telling or hearing directions.  My father once told a story of how he was almost fired for telling his boss he was at the corner of these two streets, and his boss thought he was being snarky.  They've since been renamed, but I still prefer them under their old names.

This Street and That Street.

Although I'm pretty sure that all of This Street was not all of That Street.   Grin Grin Grin

Here in Stainforth, North Yorkshire, we have a That Lucky Old Sun Boulevard, a Surf's Up Highway, a Take A Load Off Your Feet Crescent and, bizarrely - named 50 years ago - a That's Why God Made The Radio Grove.

(actually we just have a Main Road and a Main Street within the village, but the Parish Council might rename them after the reunited Beach Boys play the village hall next summer to mark Pet Sounds' 50th anniversary)

Now John, you are being rather silly HOWEVER I only recently found out that my home here in the small town of Berkeley (Gloucestershire) has stood for many many hundreds of years however somebody all that time ago had the foresight that one day popular music would be the 'in thing' and envisaged that one day a band from the West Coast of the USA (after independence of course) would write a song called 'Student Demo Time'.

In the early 2000s, when I was in high school, our school districts treasurer was named Brian Wilson. The superintendent was Keith Richards. Here's a document I found that mentions both:

Come to mention it, there is a People's Park in Halifax, my ol' hometown.

There's a Wilson Street near the Barbican, where I'm going to see L&M.

Intersects Sun and meets up with Worship.  How appropriate.
