Beach Boys & Apple Music

Today, Apple Music was finally released. I was really happy to find an extensive collection of BBs music, including Brian, Carl, Dennis, Al, Mike, and Dave's solo music as well. But here is what bothers me---
Stars And Stripes is available to stream (and download on normal iTunes) and SIP and Still Cruisin' are not available. This bothers me as a die hard BBs fan. Even though, by the general public, SIP and SC are viewed as poor, the BBs are one of THE most important bands of all time, and ALL of their music should be able to be listened to, without having to spend a fortune to get a SIP cd on eBay. I would love to write a letter to Capitol trying to get this point across.
Does anyone agree with me?

I do, but it must be a BRI thing with SIP and I'll bet Still Cruisin' shows up eventually.

Oh Brian
Thou Art In Hawthorne,
Harmonied Be Thy name
Your Kingdom Come,
Your Steak Well Done,
On Stage As It Is In Studio,
Give Us This Day, Our Shortenin' Bread
And Forgive Us Our Bootlegs,
As We Also Have Forgiven Our Wife And Managers,
And Lead Us Not Into Kokomo,
But Deliver Us From Mike Love.
Amen. ---hypehat

I sure hope so. I can't fathom why BRI or whoever distributes the songs digitally can favor one album over another. (I think SIP is no worse than MIU) Yet apparently the distribution guys do.

Capitol/Universal doesn’t own the rights to “Summer in Paradise”, BRI does. So Capitol isn’t holding anything back. Even with all the weird stuff that has popped up on iTunes (“Santa’s Goin’ to Kokomo”, etc.), SIP has never been on there. I would assume BRI is either actively keeping it locked up or, just as likely, they just don’t care and nobody else is showing any interest in licensing it.
I’m not sure if Capitol/Universal actively has an ongoing “first right of refusal” on any or all BRI-owned material. So there’s the possibility that if BRI *did* want to release SIP, they’d have to offer it to Capitol first.
I posited just a *possible* theory awhile back that someone, perhaps Brian, has asked for SIP to be sort of “retired” and not brought back out, as even the artwork from the album was conspicuously absent from a lot of album cover collages and whatnot during C50. On the other hand, the live version of “SIP” is on the “Made in California” set, so it’s not like they’re trying to hide the material.
