Overview
This unconventional and moving portrait of musician Brian Wilson, front man of the Beach Boys, gives viewers an in-depth look at the events that shaped his life, from beginning to now. Specifically, the emotional and personal toll that stardom and success took on Wilson is examined. Also examined is the unique relationship between Wilson and his controversial therapist, Dr. Eugene Landy. Wilson meets Melinda Ledbetter, a woman that discovers the manipulative relationship between Wilson and Landy, and strives to break it apart and save Wilson's sanity.

Just a caveat that sometimes “estimated” release dates are based on nothing more than “this is how long movies typically take to make it to DVD/Blu-ray.” Ironically, sometimes it is the more indie-ish movies that are more difficult to predict as far as home video release dates.
