Great show...fantastic selection of songs with swift pacing.  The band was on fine form.  Blondie should tour with Brian forever.  My video of "Wake The World"

Thanks for the great video. It's called Wake The World, by the way.

Al sounded great! Reminded me of the live version from '69 in London! Can someone load the Surf's Up video if anyone has it? Would love to see that and I wish Al did his old part at the end.

Justin - thanks for that! Wake the World! I think Live in London is the only live version I've ever heard!

Al still rocks the white suit!  Wink

Now THAT rocked like a motherfucker.

Yeah that really scorched. Only way that gets better is if Al breaks out his pilgrim hat. Can't wait for this show.

He still rocks the suit...

Maybe he could hang the Pilgrim hat on the mic stand, as a tribute to the era...

The hat was never worn with the suit, that I remember... Wink

They're in Philly Monday the 29th, and Philly has a whole bunch of events that week leading up to July 4th. Picture this: Al dons the Uncle Sam top hat on stage. The crowd would go wild.  Cheesy

Wow. So nice to hear that song! Al is the man. If you heard a "thud" while watching it was probably Ben Vaughn's jaw hitting the floor...  LOL

I am really impressed with Blondie and Al on Sail On Sailor. I love the edge that Blondie provides with his guitar playing. Also, cool seeing and hearing Al play that staccato guitar part. Now, that is The Beach Boys at their finest! Wink I can't wait for the Philly show next Monday. Smiley

And THAT is the real McCoy. Now my jaw hit the floor along with Ben Vaughn...  Cheesy

It looks like the person filming this fainted or something when that Bossa beat kicked in.  LOL

I love the BW sign language on "thoughts in the morning" and "I write 'em all down". This is so cool to see. Has Busy Doin' Nothin' EVER been done live before?

Yes, Brian and band were playing it live in the early 2000's, pre-Smile. Some of those setlists and shows were epic.  Smiley
