What if the Beach Boys had made a couple of appearances on Good Times instead of Full House, and it had been Amos istead of Stamos who attached himself to the Beach Boys underbelly.  Would it have changed the artistic direction of the band?  Would he have covered Forever on SIP or chosen a different track?

Bravo Juice!!!!

This has been a running joke with me for years.
I've thought about this a lot.

I'd pay TRIPLE to see him  -- with either outfit -- nailing "She Knows Me Too Well," "Deidre," and/or "Crack At Your Love."

Genius.

I can see him now, playing congas in the Kokomo video dressed in his Beastmaster outfit.

They could have adapted "Dance Dance Dance" into "Damn Damn Damn"...

Damn, Damn, Damn...maybe the best 5 seconds of television ever.
Apparently Amos has a 5 album deal with some Nashville label...Mike may be envious.

Love John Amos. He'll always be "Gordy" to me.

We are poor, and poor is one of three things people don't want to be. Right next to sick, and dead.

Great thread!! I think John Amos would have done great with the Beach Boys in their hippie years.
