Among the damaged discs in the flood were several CD-Rs that are rendered unreadable. Many of them I don't care about, but there was one SMiLE fanmix that I have been unable to relocate. It was nearly identical to BWPS in terms of flow but used only the original tracks. I'm unsure whose fanmix this was, or if it was a combination of a few that someone else put up. I would love to replace it if possible, as it was my go-to SMiLE disc and unfortunately I hadn't ripped it to my iPod or anything before it was damaged.

So I guess what I'm asking is for y'all to post your favorite BWPS-style fanmixes so I can try to replace it or at the very least make my own recreation of that mix.

"Because of the attitude of a few mental dinosaurs intent on exploiting our initial success, Brian's huge talent has never been fully appreciated in America and the potential of the group has been stifled.... If the Beatles had suffered this kind of misrepresentation, they would have never got past singing 'Please Please Me' and 'I Wanna Hold Your Hand' and leaping around in Beatle suits."

Well, I'd suggest our own Soniclovenoize's mix from his fantastic blog called "Albums That Never Were", as a starting point. (Easy to find.) He has at least one version like that on there.

There's also a ton of other great stuff on that site you should check out---I especially like his take on "Landlocked" and the Zombies' "RIP".
