Does anyone know how many copies it has sold,

I'm guessing you've never heard the December 1967 Capitol marketing promo for SmileCool

Checking with the RIAA, it hasn't gone gold yet, so domestic sales are under 500,000.

Worldwide sales of BWPS are between 800,000 and 900,000 copies at present. The DVD has sold, I think, in excess of 700,000 units.

I kinda doubt that - the RIAA certification for the platinum status of the DVD, as far as I can make out from their site, is 100,000 units. I would seriously question that the Beautiful Dreamer has sold an additional 600,000 copies in the rest of the world.

Re: the DVD - Andrew, I did read that figure on this board some months ago and accepted it at face value. It should have sold 700,000 mind you. BWPS certainly was certified gold in the UK (100,000 copies) but has probably crawled up to around 150,000 to date. Rest of the World outside US and UK: - estimated 250,000 copies.
