Here's what I posted on Facebook about my feelings on tonight's final episode of Mad Men.

Quote
I was 14 when Mad Men premiered and in a way, I've grown up watching it. I can't say enough about how much of a presence this series has been for me and the feelings I have about its ending tonight. For this viewer, it's been amazing to witness and has left great inspiration to a creative mind. I am so excited to see where this final episode will leave these great characters whom to me have become so familiar, they're almost like friends from another era. Farewell Don, Peggy, Roger, Pete, and Joan. It's been a hell of a ride.

Really going to miss this show.

As far as I'm concerned, that was the best series finale ever. I do admit I was upset we didn't get to see Ginso and Bob Benson one last time.

I always wanted to know who came up with that Coke commercial. Who knew it was that damn Don Draper fellow. I loved the serene smile that came over his face as he began to meditate. It would have been cooler had he gone to see Mike & Al to learn how to meditate, instead of that hippie retreat. Wink

The Brianista Prayer

Oh Brian
Thou Art In Hawthorne,
Harmonied Be Thy name
Your Kingdom Come,
Your Steak Well Done,
On Stage As It Is In Studio,
Give Us This Day, Our Shortenin' Bread
And Forgive Us Our Bootlegs,
As We Also Have Forgiven Our Wife And Managers,
And Lead Us Not Into Kokomo,
But Deliver Us From Mike Love.
Amen.  ---hypehat
