I don't know myself, please add to the list and if anyone knows his wives please add those. I'm in work, and bored so I can't reference any books at the moment.

Mike has the following wives/exes and children:

1. Frances St. Martin 1961-64 - Melinda & Teresa

[Shannon Haris 1964 - Shawn (unproven but widely assumed)]

2. Suzanne Belcher 1965-1968 - Christian & Hayleigh

3. Tamara Fitch 1972-1977 - Summer Deva

4. Cathy Martinez 1981-1982 - Micheal Edward (there is some disupte as to his paternity)

5 - Jacquelyn Piesen 1994-date - Brian & Ambah

Then there was Sue Damon Oliver in the late 70's, with no apparent offspring.  Cathy Martinez is the one involving Wolfman Jack as the minister.  I remember Mike saying on TV his earlier marriages hadn't lasted, so he wanted to get married by a bishop this time, so he said Wolfman sent in the extra five dollars and got bishop's papers.  Didn't seem to help any, as it was all over pretty quick.

Mike never married Sue Damon, nor Sumako Kelly, nor Sharon Lee: hoever, he may have married and then divorced someone in the 80s before the family knew much about it. Got this info from a family member.

Re: Andrew's reply to my post, I was taking the Sue Oliver info from the Gaines book, where he cites the marriage as taking place  "in a quiet ceremony in a Lake Tahoe chapel" in the "late seventies", and that they divorced two years later. I know Gaines' book had some, ahem,  "problems"; this is evidently one of them. i remember having heard her name associated with Mike in that timeframe, but didn't know any more than that.  Admittedly a difficult history to follow and keep straight!

I guess Dennis liked some of them. I remember Brian saying that Dennis had sex with every Beach Boy's wife, though in Mike's case I don't know if he had with all of them....

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

Then there was the time that someone posted about seeing Mike playing with his grandkids (via Melinda) in the airport, and another poster came on and made a joke about whether Mike was going to eat them or not, evil man that he supposedly was.  And Melinda piped up that she was going to go upstairs and make sure that everything was OK or something.  Now talk about bad timing and hurtful things to say....

No, it was either on the Smile Shop or the old board.   Gone either way.  Sometimes these things all blur together.
