We are going to be visiting California this summer, and one of the stops will be Marina Del Rey.  Does anyone know specifically where Dennis kept his boat and is it possible to visit the exact spot?  I've never been to Marina Del Rey before, and I don't know what to expect.

Basin C-1100, Marina Del Rey, California.

I, I love the colorful clothes she wears, and she's already working on my brain. I only looked in her eyes, but I picked up something I just can't explain. I, I bet I know what she’s like, and I can feel how right she’d be for me. It’s weird how she comes in so strong, and I wonder what she’s picking up from me. I hope it’s good, good, good, good vibrations, yeah!!

Finger way itself is gated but you can get pretty close.

My key is long gone, as is a later one belonging to a boater friend of mine...BUT, if you are polite and respectful and explain your situation to one of the boaters ( and there are usually live-aboards around, even during the week) they could let you in.  Then you walk down to the end of the dock and it's the last slip on the right (before the end slip).

Longtime lurker here who lives in the area.

While in town you should stop by notorious Dennis haunt Chez-Jay.

They've "upscaled" it a bit recently, but it still retains it's divey charm.
