The chorus of Some of Your Love seems to have had a long history with other Beach Boys-related tracks (Child of Winter, Mike Come Back to L.A., and later Summer of Love).

I happened to stumble upon this 1964 cut where the resemblance seems quite apparent, complete with a slightly similar sax intro.

And the Beach Boy's track for comparison's sake:

Makes me wonder whether this is purely coincidence (the other elements of the song are distinct) or an intentional/unintentional borrowing on Brian's part.

Well spotted! Certainly seems like something Brian might have creatively adapted.

Very good observation TimeToGetAlone! That was new to me. Brian and Mike were very much inspired by these R'n'B and Doo-Wop groups and you can find more cases of Brian using other songs to write his song around it. I love these kind of things and find them fascinating. Anyway, here are some examples that come to mind:

Buster Brown - Fannie Mae

                                                                                      westcoast promotional man")

The Beach Boys' song started out as a cover of the Crystals' "Little boy" iirc

I wouldn't be surprised if there is more, especially in Brian's output from '71 - '80 (and of course his unreleased songs) and the very early days but I'd have to research more.

a diseased bunch of mo'fos if there ever was one… their beauty is so awesome that listening to them at their best is like being in some vast dream cathedral decorated with a thousand gleaming American pop culture icons.

PRO SHOT BEACH BOYS CONCERTS - LIST

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.
