I have been dubbed Mr. Pet Sounds and Mr. Country Love by polite and honored board member Smile Brian. I hope I live up to those esteemed titles.

Don't get too excited, there's not much that hasn't been seen already by members of this board. Dominic Priore sells yet another article which contains no new content but merely rehashes the same well-trod ground. Some nice pictures, but again, you've probably seen 'em.

Yeah, I had it in my hand tonight at a local bookstore. I skimmed the article and didn't see anything earth shattering in it. Considering the $10.50 price, I decided to pass on the purchase.

I've seen this same complaint with his 2005 Smile book and when I finally got ahold of it I was pleasantly surprised to find many observations and factoids I had never seen published or talked about ever.

...a local bookstore.

Wha?  What is a local bookstore?  The individual words I recognize, but when you put them together like that, it's just gibberish.

Yeah, this local bookstore is a survivor. I went there to hear crime writer Brian Freeman speak  about his new book " Season of Fear." They had several music magazines in the rack. I try to buy a few books there. Amazon is nice, but not the same. Maybe I'll order the upcoming Beach Boys books through the store.
