Has anyone noticed the similarity of many of the NPP song titles to BB (group & solo) songs of the past?  There are many that only need one word change to become another song title.  Observe:

This Beautiful Day vs. It's A Beautiful Day (1-2 words)

Runaway Dancer vs. Runaway [released on the Sunkist promo album] (1 word)

Our Special Love vs. Our Sweet Love (1 word)

The Right Time vs. The First Time (from LATR) (1 word)

Don't Worry vs. Don't Worry Baby (1 word)

Tell Me Why vs. Tell Me Why (Party) (0 words)

Sail Away vs. Sail Away (OCA) (0 words)

One Kind Of Love vs. Good Kind Of Love (TLOS) (1 word)

Saturday Night vs. Friday Night (POB) (1 word)

Those are the obvious ones, but there are some more that require a little more imagination and changes:

On The Island vs. Island Fever, Island Girl

Half Moon Bay vs. In My Moondreams vs. Moonshine vs. Under The Moonlight

Guess You Had To Be There vs. Guess I'm Dumb (instrumental) vs. Had To Phone Ya

I'm Feeling Sad vs. I'm Broke

Sail Away vs. Break Away vs. Sail Plane Song vs. Runaway

I can beat that: has anyone noticed that, despite the similarity of titles, the songs are entirely different ?

Elton John has already written a tune titled "The Last Song."

And Queen started off their Made in Heaven with another fragment called "It's a Beautiful Day."

And, of course, Randy Newman's "Sail Away" is one of Brian's favorite albums of all time.
